Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nava MD?

We are an online dermatology clinic that believes you deserve better than “one-size-fits-all” skincare. Our service falls under the category of Telehealth, a form of remote health care, where you and a Nava MD appointed dermatologist can communicate by computer or telephone. Thanks to Nava MD, improving the look and feel of your complexion has never been easier.

What does Nava MD offer?

Nava MD offers a wide range of prescription skincare solutions for acne, anti-aging, and other areas of concerns. Custom compound formulas typically blend of two or more ingredients, like tretinoin and salicylic acid, depending on your specific needs. Your Nava MD clinician will recommend multiple solutions, including custom compound formulas, as part of your personalized treatment plan.

How is Nava MD different than a “traditional” dermatologist office?

  • IT’S FAST: Gone are the days when you have to wait weeks to see a doctor about your skin— or spend your precious time sitting in waiting rooms and standing in line at the pharmacy. With Nava MD’s unique service model, you can consult with a medical expert away, and get the prescription skincare treatment you need — no lines, no hassle.
  • IT’S AFFORDABLE: Seeing a doctor can cost a pretty penny. But with Nava MD, you can consult with a qualified, licensed clinician for free — no health insurance required. And by cutting out the middleman and shipping medication directly to you, our prescription treatments cost a fraction of what you’d pay at your local pharmacy.
  • IT’S PRIVATE: Your health is your own private business, and we are here to keep it that way. Every step of the process — from your free online skin quiz, to your communication with your doctor — adheres to strict HIPPA rules and regulations. Additionally, all orders are placed through our server, which has been encrypted with advanced technology for your total security. Last but not least, all Nava MD orders are shipped in discreet, nondescript packaging to protect patient privacy.
  • IT’S SAFE: Given the current Covid-19 pandemic, you may be wary of going to the doctor’s office — especially if you are more at risk for infection. But when you choose our online dermatology clinic, you can get expert medical care from the safety of your own home. And rest assured, our licensed clinicians do their due diligence to minimize negative side effects and adverse drug reactions, Additionally, all of our prescription treatment options are FDA approved, meaning they’ve been shown to be safe and effective for their intended use.

How does it work?

It’s so easy! To start, take our free online skincare consultation with questions on your medical history, symptoms, and goals. You may also be asked to submit a photo of your skin and speak with a physician over the phone.

From there, a licensed clinician will review your case, and create a treatment personalized plan based on your unique needs. Once you place your order, they will fill your prescription with our U.S. pharmacy partner, and ship your formulas to your home at no charge. Most customers receive their medication in the mail within 2 business days of placing their order.
